((Yes, the title sounds like its meant to be a story title, but I don't want to submit this as an actual submission))
Darkcore ventured high up into the mountains, in order to obtain the Wolfsbane that he was requested to find. His armor did not weigh him down. Rather, its burden only gave him incentive to move quicker.
"Ah, damn it...how high am I gonna have to climb this thing before I get the..."
Darkcore looked ahead, and saw before him the herb he had been looking for: Wolfsbane, and plenty of them.
"Yes, I finally found em!"
He reached out to grab the herbs, when suddenly a clawed hand swiped at him from above.
Darkcore jumped back and drew his mace, Ironsoul. He looked up toward what had attacked him to see a massive Worgen creature clinging from the edge.
The Worgen spoke to him: "Get away from my ingredients, Death Knight!"
Darkcore, still in shock, uttered out the sentence, "B-but I need these for a friend...you see, a bunch of druids..."
The Worgen stopped him in his speech. "Silence! I know what you speak of. A similar curse is upon me. I have yet to find a cure, which is why I cannot allow you to take my Wolfsbane!"
The Worgen beast equipped poison-tipped claw weapons to his arms and assumed a battle stance. "Fight me, Death Knight, if you wish to obtain this herb!"
Darkcore smirked and said, "You just made this TEN times easier for me!" He swung his mace, but the Worgen was too fast for him, and slashed him from behind. Darkcore stumbled forward, almost falling off the edge. He regained his balance, but the Worgen was waiting for him and slashed at him the moment he turned around.
Darkcore went crashing down the mountain, but held himself to the walls with his mace. "You're REALLY going to regret having done that, FIDO." Darkcore rushed up the side of the mountain with intense speed and swung at the Worgen, striking him in his right arm. The Worgen's claw weapon dropped down the mountain, and he became enraged at Darkcore.
"Do not test me, Undead! I will defend my herbs until the day I die!" The Worgen began slashing frantically with his other claw weapon, and began biting at Darkcore, pushing him toward the edge, but this time, below was no safer than down the side of the mountain. The edge he was about to push Darkcore from led into a spiky gorge, where multiple skeletal bodies remain impaled on the sharp rocks.
Darkcore, still hesitantly being pushed backward, said, "Good for you, but I don't plan on dying any time soon either!" Darkcore cast a spell called Chains of Ice on the Worgen, which held him in place as Darkcore ran and carefully picked the Wolfsbane. As the spell began to fade, the Worgen rushed toward Darkcore, shouting, "If I cannot have my herbs, no one can! I will drag you into our spiked grave!!" As the Worgen tried to grab Darkcore, his attacks triggered Darkcore's ability. Bloodworms came forth and started to devour the Worgen's life force.
As the Worgen tried to shake them off, he stumbled back again...this time for good. He tripped over a stone and began barreling into the spiked pit. Darkcore, although he needed the herbs, tried to save him using his Death Grip, but it did not pull him up far enough. The last sounds the Worgen made were of his body being ripped open by the spikes and his blood leaking into the cracks below.
Darkcore put his mace on his back once again, and with the Wolfsbane, left the mountain.
